I enjoy doing author visits, as well as bookstore and library appearances. I would love the opportunity to present a program for your K- 2 students. Using my books and published poems as a springboard, I will offer interactive activities that excite children about reading and writing.  Together we will explore how writers use language to create stories and poems. 

Since I am back to part-time teaching, I am only able to offer evening, weekend or short afternoon presentations at Dutchess County, NY schools and libraries. My presentations range in length from 30 - 50 minutes, depending on age. My fee is very reasonable, and I'm willing to work with groups who have a limited budget. I appreciate the opportunity to  sign copies of my books for students and teachers who wish to purchase them .

The students at Elm Drive Elementary School in Millbrook NY made adorable animal pictures in computer class. I think we have some future illustrators in this school!!
